Just few weeks ago we had found Johnny in concert with Willie Nelson will nelson willie nelsonand two times with the Aerosmith 10342402_303955196444797_2596983150668695203_n1794548_303955213111462_1188582103967620007_n10559897_303955139778136_8581075233059515749_n  10553524_299162080257442_4339651177389225150_n

Two appointments in Boston and Mansfield with Nelson and the Aerosmith and once back to Los Angeles Johnny re-joined with great pleasure the Aerosmith in another concert.

Many collaborations with Paul McCartney 10489941_301941276646189_250817848172232704_nthe most famous member of the still unforgettable band: The Beatles and with Ryan Adams .

Without to counting the strong connection with musician Alice Cooper.

Johnny couldn’t avoid so a collaboration with one of the greatest musicians of all the times: Bob Dylan bob dylan

This one of Bob Dylan will be a new and special album.

“Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes”   will see involved in fact a lot of great  artists of the music industry. Marcus Mumford marcusof Mumford & Sons, Elvis Costello costello, Jim James jimof My Morning Jacket, Rhiannon Giddensrhiannon, Taylor Goldsmithtaylor .
These artists have created music for 24 songs still not yet completed by Bob Dylan and written in the 1960’s. They were part of the 1967’s “Basement tape” sessions.
This new album will be released this fall like also a documentary: “Lost On The River: The New Basement Tapes”  directed by Sam Jones.

1 will perform with his guitar on one song called: Kansas City “replacing” Elvis Costello busy with a gig somewhere else.

It is great to seeing when very good music is created by a lot of artists, all together  working for a common purpose: create a new artistic miracle.

Of course remarkable the generosity of Bob Dylan in sharing these songs with the rest of these artists.

Filmmaker Jones said that these songs everyone thought were disappeared can be great good stuff for Hollywood and that they’re a great historical discovery.

Jones added: “These days and nights in the studio have been nothing less than magical.”
