A new surprising 1521632_328644730642510_7789636811826301872_nd – but not anymore too much – special appearance of Johnny Depp on the stage of the prestigious O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire of London during a concert by musician Ryan Adams with which Johnny loves to collaborate a lot. Johnny performed with Ryan Adams in the latest song of the songwriter and musician: “Gimme Something Good“.

Johnny has been welcomed very warmly by Ryan Adam’s fans. Rolling Stone magazine reported Johnny was welcomed with: “Johnny! Johnny! Johnny!”

The magazine specialized in music events and interviews reported Johnny preferred to performing with his own guitar, instead of the pyrotechnic solo on the original.

Johnny performed in two songs by Ryan Adams: “Kim” and in “Mother”, Danzig cover .

They were intense moments 1521632_328644730642510_7789636811826301872_n 10609520_328599170647066_1809103040769665742_n .

When Johnny sings the guitar 10649685_328599253980391_6387498934125278370_n it seems that space, people and all the rest of the world is like “closed out” and forgotten for performing in a sort of musical catharsis  as only he can does it: with all his soul and with all his passion 10374072_328599190647064_4951964059538198318_n  10295801_328022277371422_3658148385416916054_n Johnny guitar Johnny 6 .

This one is a sound born and felt directly from his soul 10609520_328599170647066_1809103040769665742_n 10661926_328568067316843_7406287406093741856_o 1919668_328416130665370_2235925816713567413_n 10712903_327971974043119_8805054099224672191_n 10550846_328288990678084_6065013760477443285_n
2000 people at the concert,  10645186_327971914043125_8980719752234932278_n Ryan Adams 10653691_327971947376455_8743918612087970859_n very busy lately appeared last week on the Late Show hosted by David Letterman performing “Gimme something Good” from his new album.

Johnny Depp has been particularly busy lately talking about music as well. There is a strict parallelism with movies and music in the life of this legendary artist.

If in a way he is super-busy starring as the Mad Hatter in the Disney’s production Alice in Wonderland: Through the looking glass  and in Kevin Smith’s  Kevin Smith 2 production Yoga Hosers, as main protagonist his daughter Lily-Rose Melody Depp and Harley Quinn Lily e Harley Quinn with Kevin Smith(daughter of director Kevin Smith), at the same time he loves so badly to performing on stage. He is back to his first love: music.

We had seen him performing with The Aerosmith in Mansfield, Boston, (the band is from Boston) while he was filming Black Mass 10433842_294206544086329_1853548928510790858_n (Copy 1) 10547671_297200410453609_4781995239279213270_n (Copy 1) 10305170_715174711858233_8488680009552227727_n (Copy 1) 10366118_715174521858252_7493456781887758378_n (Copy 1) 10336653_715324708509900_8724923062343899876_n (Copy 1)directed by Cooper, the story of the most known mobster of the American History: the bostonian Whitey Bulger. Johnny in the role of Whitey.

Johnny when in Boston performed with Willie Nelson as well. Lately again with the Aerosmith once returned to Los Angeles.

Another great collaboration is the one with Paul McCartney, one of oldest Johnny’s friends, and just recently he was searching for some lost songs written by a guy named Bob Dylan…This name rings some bells?

In this Bob Dylan’s project involving a lot of musicians Depp apart, he performed in the song: .”Kansas City” replacing Elvis Costello, busy somewhere else. These songs hided somewhere (they were created at first for Basement Tapes a legendary Bob Dylan’s album) and not found until recent times have been arranged and performed by a lot of Bob Dylan’s friends and musicians. A great experiment of art and common vision of life, art and music.

Plus of course let’s remember Johnny Depp’s great connections with various musicians starting from another historic friend as Marylin Manson is, and then Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, a real icon for Johnny.

Johnny is very shy, and once he wanted to meet Iggy Pop. One day the dream became true: Johnny and The Kids had the honor of opening the concert of Iggy’s band. Weare in the ’80s. Johnny remembers that moment in the interview released and appeared in Interview Magazine last spring:

I did two shows with you in Gainesville Iggy. My band, The Kids, opened for you in the early 80s. God, you were a hero and the show was fucking amazing. After the show you were walking around the club, and I was standing at the bar. 17 years old, drinker, drinking as much as I could to have the courage to talk to you. And I remember making a horrible decision in my state of teen drunkenness, “Well, I’ll draw your attention. “I started talking,” I I-Iggy Pop, Piggy Slop “, you know? You walked towards me and put your face about a quarter of an inch from my face and said “You little shit.” And it was not exactly the reaction I deserved, but it was what I wanted. I had a moment with you. Even if they were three words that reduced me to nothing, I was so pleased and happy that I had this experience”..

Johnny wanted to become a musician. In the interview I realized with him eight years ago (look at the actuality of his words!) he said me: “I had a group before the Kids. Forgotten the name now, we used to play at clubs. They had to smuggle me in the back way as I was underage. I had great fun with all my bands and still do when I get the chance to perform. I discovered my passion for performing musically when I was 12. I am a self – taught musician. I never actually wanted to be an actor. My main passion is to be a musician but we weren’t getting the gigs and no money coming in so I turned to acting for a while as I thought I would get back to performing with a band again“.

Johnny is now in a luxury phase of his existence. He can follow, producing and realize whater he wants and he cam gives to all his possible passions shapes with a freedom maybe in the past he didn’t have.
