Johnny discovered Mortdecai 10 years ago

The revelation during an interview  with the BBC 10377448_380325925474390_7908367489037022352_n last night.

Johnny read The Mortdecai Trilogy ten years ago and fell in love for the book.

Interesting plot, great scenario, an unforgettable character and a good and particular writing-style Johnny I am sure appreciated a lot.

Johnny tried to contact Bonfiglioli, but he was dead. The idea of the realization of the movie constantly in his mind.

There is a lot of satisfaction when a dream comes true and it is what happened to Johnny Depp with the characterization of Charlie Mortdecai. The sophisticated, noble londoner art dealer, maybe pretty amoral but incredibly interesting will be in grade to fascinate all the viewers and entertaining all of us with great humor and funny scenes.

Johnny added in the interview he loves London, londoners and their sense of humor and he couldn’t think at another most beautiful city in the world, because there is poetry everywhere, culture, and a lot of pubs.
