“We want the sets of Pirates 5!”
Local administrators are fighting with Disney for keeping alive the sets of Pirates 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales
It’s an exciting news the one appeared on the Gold Coast Bulletin website march 9th.
Something that will involve the locations where Pirates 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales is filmed at the moment.
As maybe you will remember we talked of these stunning locations created months ago by the pre-production of Pirates, adding and saying that they’re big and stunning, an entire village.
(Thanks to Lory Depp Girl for all these pictures)
The Black Pear has been re-created using the Rainbow Gipsy one of the most stunning Australian ships.
Well, local administrators are seriously taking in consideration now of not dismantled these sets, but of keeping them alive as a sort of relic and of course a touristic attraction.
Helensvale and Maudsland sets are impressively big. Negotiations are starting with Disney, for trying to obtain the sets or wherever if wouldn’t be possible all the sets, large portion of it and maybe….two ships.
The biggest dream of the mayor of the city of Helensvale passing through the counselors, is…obtaining the Black Pearl. Mmmmm….Won’t they film other Pirates movies?
Councillor William Owen-Jones said to the Gold Coast Bulletin at the moment that these sets are employing 900 people and it would be great to preserve them because an attraction.
Plus the local administrators are thinking of using the various locations as a touristic attraction waiting for the arrival of the movie, so for a sort of touristic guide “into the sets” for the tourists. Tourists could take their pictures, remembering for sure a memorable experience before the arrival on theater of Pirates 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales. A sort of…exclusive in the land where Johnny Depp , Jack Sparrow filmed the movie.
Good idea Australians! Let’s just hope that if you will obtain it, you’ll permit the arrival of the capuchin monkeys on the set of Pirates 😉
