Johnny's movies

I am a Johnny’s fan but I arrived when Johnny was wearing Jack Sparrow’s costumes so I admit that I had never seen some of his oldest movies.

Days ago I watched Blow.

Well dear Johnny  10169161_449775155164432_1110843251325954211_n, please give us more movies like these ones. Ed Wood, Blow. They’re beautiful.

Back to Blow.

In itself the moral condition of this merchant of drug George Jung is not taken in consideration in the movie and the story is told in its objectivity. The movie will be told in first person by the same George Jung. A man who didn’t want to find an honest work, and that once in California a wonderful place, thought that it was good to start a drug trafficking.

For the rest, there is an implacable and cold analysis of what drug and its trafficking means, including the process of  creation of cocaine. Plus the movie offers an entire reconstruction of that years of drug and perdition.

Unthinkable to believe it at first but this movie is “light” and I can tell you it’s like to drink a glass of water although there are profound messages in various part of it.

What I loved the most watching Blow was the deep relationship between the merchant of drug George Jung and his daughter.

Dreaming part of the movie that sections, where everything could be possible also the construction of a normal family just if…

And another part was George Jung’s relationship with his parents. Normal and common honest people from a town of  Massachusetts. He was the black sheep of family.

Touching when at the end of the movie Jung, in prison and devastated by his miserable life saw in a hallucination his daughter. A beautiful girl and later again his little daughter.

“I can’t live without my heart”…
