Very happy that this time Rotten Tomatoes didn’t win!

Posted in Johnny Depp by Anna Maria Polidori on June 3, 2017

OK: The Inquisitr arrived before but I thought to realize a piece remarking this the day after Pirates was launched: that for once Pirates defeated Rotten Tomatoes and the sum of negative critics (many good as well) expressed by many critics of big and small newsmagazines and realities in the entire territory of the USA.

Box office and Rotten Tomatoes became my biggest friends or enemies these latest years and every time a Johnny Depp’s movie out.

This time viewers didn’t listen anything or anyone.
They just went to the cinema for enjoying a moment of escapism and only God knows the necessity of some de-stressing moments considering the times we are living in.

More important has been the card played by Jerry Bruckheimer a real test on the viewers according to my point of view: “Without Johnny Depp no other Pirates will be realized!”
Producer Bruckheimer maybe said that words in fact also for trying to see if the solid base of Johnny’s fans and Pirates fans were still there waiting for him.

People trusted Johnny Depp and they went to the cinema, free again to adore their Jack Sparrow.

Fans never abandoned the saga, never abandoned their favorite characters, never abandoned the ideas of wild adventures with Jack Sparrow, the more educated William Turner, Captain Barbossa and the new entry: Captain Salazar.

Do you know why? Because dreams are priceless.

Bruckheimer an old-fashioned man with real values in his heart

Jerry Bruckheimer and his gratitude and friendship with Johnny Depp

Jerry Bruckheimer to me is one of the most grateful men existing in the face of this Earth.
His respect and consideration for Johnny Depp considering the role Depp has played during these many years of collaboration with Disney, an iconic brand for children and teenagers is endless.

Johnny Depp thanks to his personal visionary world created great iconic movies like The Corpse Bride, Alice in Wonderland and sequel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Today the producer specified something: without Johnny Depp Pirates, an eventual Pirates 6 wouldn’t be created.

It’s a story of gratitude and great friendship the one between these two men and creatives.

At DigitalSpy Bruckheimer specified: “The secret to any successful franchise is picking talented people, and Johnny is absolutely key to the success of Pirates.” He also added: “Jack Sparrow is still the same guy he was in the first one. He’s still out to get what’s good for him…” About Johnny Depp he added: “We’ve worked together on six movies now and he’s just an amazing individual.”

But…Which is the philosophy of movie-making for Bruckheimer? He said: “You have a kitchen in your house, right? But you still go out to eat… If something drags you out of the house it’s usually good food. We have to make really, really good movies to make people stay away from their televisions. And that’s exactly what we do.”

So, what we hope is that Pirates 5 will be a great success and that the final choice of Johnny will be the one to continuing to play this iconic role so loved by children and people all over the world and one of the most entertaining characters ever created in the history of cinema.

Good Luck Pirates! I am very happy that you are back!

At first the villain was a woman?

Terry Rossio reveals what happened with this first script of Pirates 5

It’s interesting: lately websites launched the news that one of the historic screenwriters of Pirates, Terry Rossio said recently that at first he imagined for Jack Sparrow a woman as a villain, following maybe the scheme of Angelica and Jack in Pirates 4. Angelica was Penelope Cruz the wife of Javier Bardem, Captain Salazar.

Terry Rossio with Ted Elliott signed the first three installments of Pirates.
The fourth one, written by Terry Rossio.

The same Terry Rossio left alone the Fifth installment of Pirates.
Ted Elliott later involved in the realization of the fifth installment.

Why this?

At first was written a first script by Terry Rossio, a first Pirates 5, but the main villain was a woman and Johnny Depp when read it rejected the idea, thinking that it was too redundant considering also Dark Shadows.

For sure we can just wish to seeing back soon again also Terry Rossio for the realization of Pirates 6! We miss seeing him around!

Jerry Bruckheimer: “Johnny Depp was under pressure”

Posted in Johnny Depp by Anna Maria Polidori on May 11, 2017

There is not I think a movie with a more prophetic title like the one chosen for the fifth episode of the saga of Pirates: “Dead Men Tell No Tales” because ironically, people in good health and alive told a lot about them on the set. I know I wrote it several times but it is true.

And you mustn’t think that it was just Johnny Depp.
It seemed that the set “cursed” No one found peace during the filming.
This “curse”, or heavy negative influence involved everyone.

It happens sometimes but for sure we have seen the script of another potential movie going on while there was the making of Pirates: the one of a disgraceful set’s misadventures that just life could have portrayed well as reality has.

Let’s see what happened.

Once a man wearing Johnny Depp’s dress as Jack Sparrow eluded all controls.
On set they also choose a special word: “Herschel” for the most upsetting moments.
The man a knife with him.

Another time sorted out the  drama of the two little monkeys on set, because of quarantine problems. Big polemics, environmentalists, petitions…But at least the two monkeys arrived in Australia happy and cheerful for joining again Captain Barbossa.
End of the story?

No, of course!
No one know the reason, and why it happened (when there is an unlucky moment trust me in life everything can happen!) one of these little monkeys adorable with Captain Barbossa escaped away from  the set ending up on the set of another production.
A worker of that production was eating peacefully during a break. Seeing the monkey and thinking she was tender she started to make friendship with her but the monkey ready to bit her.. The lady I guess pretty upset and scared transported to the hospital.

Another man of the troupe of Pirates accused some severe chest pain .
The man transported to the closest hospital with an ambulance. Just in case.

Then there was the case of the women with big breasts requested as extras in Pirates…
Yes, well Disney searched for prosperous women with a good, visible breast, but not redone, natural.
A scammer falsified the e-mail of the person responsible for the casting of the ladies and asked to these ladies to send him their pics.
This one of all the facts the funniest one after all, but again: no peace because there was an investigation, the arrival of police and again a lot of stress.

Then of course there was the problem of Johnny Depp and his return to Los Angeles for being cured.

Bruckheimer in a statement said of Johnny Depp: “You’ve got to understand the kind of pressure Johnny was under in Australia. At times helicopters would follow him home. There would be so many media outside his gates that trucks were feeding them.”

I am more than certain that this franchise will be a great success because the realization was fruit of sufferance.
It will be a movie more felt, more real, more vivid, more focused because life entered as main character  in Pirates 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales for reclaiming its own role.

Orlando Bloom: I will open and end Pirates 5

Posted in Johnny Depp by Anna Maria Polidori on April 30, 2017

Waiting for Johnny Depp’s considerations, let’s follow Bloom

Orlando Bloom, waiting also to hearing some considerations from Johnny Depp, continue to tell what it will be this Pirates 5 Dead Men Tell No Tales and so let’s report his news. A return to the past very positive.

Orlando Bloom said he is thrilled that his 6 years old son Flynn born from his long relationship with his ex-wife the model Miranda Kerr, is enthusiastic to see his daddy playing a pirate.
Orlando Bloom will open and close Pirates said during an interview.

Orlando Bloom thinks that the directors of the movie Joachim Ronning, a great connection with press, thank you thank you thank you and Espen Sandberg have been great because the movie is back to its “Simplicity and charm” added Bloom telling also that he has seen the movie and he find it amazingly beauty.

The role of Henry Turner will be the one of setting free his father from I guess the curse of being the captain of The Flying Dutchman? His heartless condition will cease? We must just wait some other weeks for trying to understand what will happen precisely and so what we can wait for a possible Pirates 6.

Orlando Bloom and his considerations about Pirates 5 Salazar’s Revenge (british title of the saga)

Maybe a sixth installment is possible said Bloom

What appeared clear with Pirates 5 was this: that  it was better to return to the past so indispensable to call back the old and beloved protagonists of the saga, the ones who, with Johnny Depp , Jack  Sparrow, made Pirates of the Caribbean so unique and special.

One of them is Orlando Bloom. British, born in Kent in 1977 he is famous also for having portrayed one of the nine members of the Fellowship of the Rings, in the trilogy The Lord of the Rings by Peter Jackson: the elf Legolas  later also seen in The Hobbit Trilogy by the same Peter Jackson.

Bloom these days in various shows because of the promotion of the movie attended the Graham Norton Show this April 28 revealing that maybe Pirates won’t end with this latest installment..

“There is room for more” he added sure.

Orlando said he is the captain of The Flying Dutchman the most famous ad well described ghost ship of the Oceans with his son Henry Turner portrayed by Aussie actor Brenton Thwaites.

Just other several weeks and Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge or Dead Men Tell no Tales will be released.

Pirates are back!

At the Superbowl another trailer of Pirates. With Jack!

Posted in Johnny Depp, movies by Anna Maria Polidori on February 6, 2017

During the Superbowl Disney launched a new trailer of Pirates Dead Men Tell No Tales. And Jack is back!
The movie directed by Joachim Rønning 10684255_1571211803157143_1819285972_n and Espen Sandberg written by Jeff Nathanson.

Visible and real, Johnny Depp 7089_572843512839178_7217462342563271866_n 14955905_625234130983567_8990809257925548590_n is not disappeared as in the past said.
As I always think: slowly but things will be back at the normality.

The story should be this one: Jack this time will be persecuted by the ghost of Captain Salazar. this ghost, Salazar is very furious for many reasons although confined in the Devil’s Triangle so he can’t do any damage. Sadly he will run away with a special crew all composed by ghosts and with the purpose of a special mission: killing Jack Sparrow.

At the same time legendary Jack Sparrow can only pray to find the Trident of Poseidon for escaping the horror of Salazar. Along his road he will meet the astronomer Kaya Scodelario and a young new sailor called Henry -Brenton Thwaites – the probable son of Will Turner, Orlando Bloom.

The song in the trailer the one of Johnny Cash “Ain’t No Grave.”

Vancouver location for some new shoots

Beautiful, warm city, Vancouver for some time as also reported by the Australian Gold Coast Bulletin in an article written by Suzanne Simonot will be the location for additional scenes of Pirates Dead Men Tell no Tales.

Weeks involved from March 24 to April 13, so a good portion of time.

Some actors arrived days ago in the sunny place.

Vancouver is in the West Coast. Good weather, wonderful Ocean. Close to Seattle it is in Canadian land.
Johnny 10344768_525565557617092_8407508670457218882_n Depp “in loco” like also Kevin McNally, Gibbs.
