Johnny Depp and his new greek island: Stroggino

The actor bought two days ago a new island

 

Johnny Depp is launched in buying islands around the world. After the Carribean Little Halls Pond Cay bought in 2004, thanks to the success of Pirates, a new island became property of the Kentuckian actor.

Angelica Jolie, great Johnny’s friend and Brad Pitt, decided to buy a greek island, the Ionian one Gaia . The actor followed their example.

The island should be Stroggino, the Dodecanese island Stronghyle.

Johnny bought the island two days ago for €4m. No one lives there. The island is long 0.20 km.

Steven Taylor, spokesman of the London real estate firm Proto Organization Ltd, confirming the purchase of the island, added Johnny is waited at the end of July in Greece for seeing his new property.

I guess curiosity increased during these past days for trying to see if Johnny Depp was fine the Big Day and what kind of dress he had chosen for an event so important to him as this one.

 

Here a first picture of Johnny with photographer  Suzanne Allison. Suzanne is the sister of Johnny’s wife Lori Ann married in 1983 for just 18 months. Johnny was at that time 20 years and Lori Ann 25 years. Lori Ann later would have started a relationship with Nicholas Cage and she would have introduced to Cage this young ex-husband in search for some fortune, considering that with the gigs he coudn’t pay any bills. We must thank Lori Ann and Nic Cage if we have Johnny Depp.

Johnny knows Suzanne Allison from a life. Suzanne became in fact wife of Bruce Witkin of the band The Kids with which Johnny moved his first steps in this environment in 1980s. They all grew up together in every sense.

Johnny Depp didn’t want to sign any prenup for this wedding. His fortune is estimated in 350 millions of dollars.

In case of divorce the wife, surprise surprise! would have half of his patrimony and properties without to count what would happen in case of arrival of some babies.

“Johnny wanted to prove his love was real” told a source to OK! magazine.

Love can be real but life is something else.

Johnny, and that dreaming interview with Douglas Brinkley at Little Hall’s Pond Cay

Johnny, his dreams on this island told to the famous American reporter

 

 

Johnny Depp’s biggest pride talking of houses and properties is his island at the Bahamas. So let’s talk more largely of it following the steps of Douglas Brinkley.

The interview is back to a new popularity although it was realized in 2009 because of the feast for Johnny’s wedding this saturday.

Invited by Depp for a week in the island, Brinkley would have later seen published the piece in Vanity Fair. It was 2009. Johnny was at the acme of his success. Public Enemies another success and this so loved actor would have started to filming soon the adaptation of Thompson’s book.

 

Bought in 2004 at the cost of $3.6 million thanks to the bucks received from Pirates, the island is 45 acres and the name is Little Hall’s Pond Cay. Johnny baptized the various places of the island with the names of his most loved family members and friends. One of the most beautiful corner is called Lily-Rose Beach. Then there is a corner called Jack like his son, Gonzo, a special thanks to Thompson and Brando, like Marlon Brando and there is Paradis Beach.

 

The island doesn’t count too many buildings but there is great intimacy and it is completely solar power. After all there is the sun in abundance at the Bahamas.

 

The island  is located in the Bikini Atoll.

Johnny  told to Vanity Fair in 2009: “Little Hall’s Pond is my decompression, my way of trying to return to normalcy. Escapism is survival to me.  I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. It’s instant freedom. And that rare beast, simplicity, can be had. And a little morsel of anonymity“.

 

Johnny admitted that the property in Provence and the island were so romantic and old-fashioned and that’s why they were terribly attractive and what he loved the most of them both was their consistency.

Transportation on the island? Through of a fleet of green golf cart.

Johnny in 2009 was convinced: “I look forward to my kids growing up on the island, spending months out of the year here learning about sea life and how to protect sea life and their kids growing up here, and so on.”

 

Johnny loves to remember dead people he knew and was friend with. There is a place in the island called Heath’s place, named after actor Heath Ledger.

Johnny watching the horizons and the island: “I defy any painter to capture those shades of blue. I was just lucky this place found me.”
